Creative development on a large-scale social realist feature film.Article 20 is a narrative feature film released during the 2024 Spring Festival season, addressing China’s self-defense law through a mainstream cinematic format.The project combined real legal cases with commercial storytelling, operating within a high-stakes studio system that balanced social responsibility, audience expectations, and large-scale distribution.
