Reconnecting Generations Through Virtual Memory.Dear Mom is an interactive VR short film that explores the quiet emotional distance between a Chinese immigrant mother and her daughter. Created in collaboration with Meta (Facebook API @ ar/vr) and Insta360, the project invites audiences to literally step inside the memories of these two women.By blending 360° live-action with 3D animation, the film creates a world that blurs the line between reality and recollection, allowing viewers to experience love, misunderstanding, and forgiveness across generations.

Produced at the height of global isolation (2020), I managed a cross-disciplinary team of directors, technicians, and artists under strict health limitations. I guided the entire lifecycle from concept to release, proving that immersive storytelling could be achieved even when the physical world was closed off.
Technology as Healing Beyond entertainment, we designed a "virtual gift" experience released with Meta on Mother's Day 2020, allowing viewers to send personalized digital messages to their own mothers. This project confirmed my belief that technology can do more than impress—it can heal, reconnect, and make people feel seen.
