A quiet family drama about aging, isolation, and unspoken intimacy.Loop of Loneliness is a short narrative film set in a quiet domestic space, focusing on an elderly woman living alone after her children have moved away.Through restrained dialogue and minimal action, the film observes everyday routines, emotional distance, and the subtle tension between care and neglect within a family structure shaped by migration and absence.

This project marked my first sustained exploration of emotional storytelling through stillness and visual tension.Working with a small team, I focused on pacing, framing, and atmosphere—using silence, repetition, and confined space to reflect the internal state of the character. Many of the themes developed here—loneliness, restrained emotion, and the quiet weight of family bonds—later reappeared in my documentary and immersive works.
