Producing the first AI-generated movie trailer for a major theatrical release.In November 2023, I spearheaded the creation of the promotional trailer for the feature film "The Shop of the Lamp" (《照明商店》).This project stands as a pioneering benchmark in the industry: it was the first AI-generated trailer for a theatrical movie release. By orchestrating emerging video generation models, I translated the film's warm, healing narrative into a unique visual language, bridging the gap between traditional cinema marketing and the generative AI revolution.

Moving beyond static images, this project tackled the challenge of temporal consistency in early-stage AI video tools. I developed a custom workflow combining image-to-video diffusion models and style transfer, successfully maintaining character consistency and emotional tone across a dynamic sequence—a significant technical hurdle at the time.
Commercial Efficiency & Innovation This project was not just a technical demo; it was a strategic marketing asset. By leveraging AI, we drastically reduced the production timeline and cost compared to traditional CG trailers. The trailer's release generated significant social media buzz, proving that GenAI could be a viable, high-impact tool for mainstream film distribution.
